Tyler Update!

Well, several months ago, Tyler got a neat opportunity! He started out in the Guatemala City Central mission and he got to change to another mission with a cooler name!! The Quetzaltenango mission -still in Guatemala. They formed a new mission and took some from the 2 close existing missions. His area then became part of the Quetzaltenango mission so they kept him there. It has been a great experience for him!! He then went farther north, close to Mexico, to a little area that only had about 30 members. It was called Las Huistas. He became the Branch President of the little branch there. They worked hard to get as many to church each Sunday as they could! It was a great experience for him!! But looking at pictures I'm reminded that he's still my boy!!! So here are a few fun ones!!

Trip to Temple Square in Salt Lake

Isn't Temple Square beautiful?? And so are my beautiful flowers, McKenzi and Mallori!! Here we are in the old Tabernacle. Dad is explaining the beauty of "leg room".

Here we are "trying" to take a picture in front of the fountain!! It took about 20 minutes! And this is with only 10 of us!! Kenzi was gabbing, I'm sure!!

We haven't had the chance to go to Temple Square for a few years. This was a really fun trip, even though Tyler and Travis weren't with us. It's hard for me to get used to that!! It just doesn't seem like a "Family Vacation" without the whole family!! But it was, and it was tons of fun!! Although from Matthew's face, you've got to wonder!!

Love this picture of Mason and the world!!

Isn't this a beautiful picture that McKenzi took of the temple? I love it! She's an amazing photographer!

Mallori and Tori, the blonde sisters!

Mason rides on!

Mason William Gropp, 2 years old, can now ride a bike! He's pretty proud of himself!!
Okay, we are too!! It's so fun to see a little munchkin riding around on a bike!! Mallori found the training wheels for Jenica's old bike and put them on, and taught him how to ride!!
And he's obviously loving it!! He's so much fun!!

Here we are! Oh, Hi CJ!! See him in the background? He's looking for Trav! Funny! We really didn't even know he was in the picture!! For those that don't know...CJ Spjute is Trav's best friend from the time they were babies!

Cute Jeni!!

Greg Harris is taking the picture and I don't know how we got away without getting any pictures of him with Travis! But he came all the way from Utah all by himself to see Trav Graduate!! Thanks, Greg! That was really sweet!! We love you!!

Victoria's Kitchen

Tori would love to be a famous chef and have her own cable cooking show! She decided to make Parmesan Chicken from Longhi's famous cookbook. (Longhi's is a really Posh restaurant on Maui) She followed the recipe and made it perfectly!!

Since it had gluten, I didn't get to taste it, but dad said it was fantastic!

On Father's day she decided to make this cake she saw in a magazine. Her dad helped her a little but she did most of the decorating! She did a great job!! (those are hamburgers on a grill incase it's hard to tell from the picture!!)

And of course every good cook knows you have to sample your creation along the way!! (hence, the green tongue!!)

Great job Chef Tori!!! We are thinking her cooking show will be "Victoria Lyn" (you know, Rachel Ray?)

Yah! I can see it now!! You go girl!
